The "Curved Surface Inspection Robot" is a scanning inspection system designed for large and curved workpieces, combining a collaborative robot (20kg payload) manufactured by Yaskawa Electric with a line camera from Dexis that features a unique dynamic tracing function. By moving the camera while capturing images, it can simultaneously acquire up to 8 lines of both specular and diffuse reflections, which is characterized by a short tact time.
